Description

The Boxer Remote Controlled Howitzer 155 (RCH 155) is a self propelled howitzer (SPH) equipped with a 155mm 52-caliber gun from the PZH 2000 howitzer. It uses the same 155mm Artillery Gun Module (AGM) used on the DONAR artillery system also developed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. The 155mm AGM allows loading and firing processes fully automatized via remote control. This artillery system can be operated by a two-man crew. The Boxer RCH 155 is powered by a 600 kW (800+ hp) engine. The Boxer RCH 155 was unveiled at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris June 2016. The Ukraine became the launch customer with an order for 18 RCH 155 self-propelled guns in the summer of 2022 with deliveries due in 2024.
