Description

The Russian Army Buran is an armored, multipurpose tactical vehicle featuring six doors, 4x4 chassis and monocoque armored hull structure. The vehicle is powered by a YaMZ 53442 diesel engine developing a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour with a maximum range of 1,400 kilometers. The Buran vehicle has been designed as an alternative to the Tiger armored car. It can withstand impacts of projectiles of up to 12.7mm while carrying six troops including driver and commander. The Buran 4x4 was presented in July 2017 during MAKS exhibition in Moscow.
