Description

The ChangZheng 9, or Long March 9, is a super-heavy lift space launch system to be developed by China in the late 2020s in order to conduct manned flights to the Moon in the 2030s. The Long March 9 space rocket is expected to carry equipment in addition to personnel to the Moon supporting mining operations over there. The project was in the design stage in 2020 with the first test launch expected in the 2025-2030 timeframe.
