Description

The Furuno M1945 (Model 1945) is an X-band maritime navigation radar designed for a variety of vessels, including pleasure craft, fishing boats, and workboats. It operates at a frequency of 9,410 ±30 MHz with a peak power of 6 kW and an instrumented range of 64 nautical miles (approximately 118 km). The radar features a slotted waveguide array antenna with a length of 46.8 inches (approximately 120 cm) and a beamwidth of 1.9 degrees, rotating at 24 or 48 revolutions per minute.
