Description

The Oshkosh SandCat is a 4x4 protected multirole vehicle intended for use by military customers carrying personnel and equipment. It is powered by a 325-hp diesel engine and can transport as many as eight passengers, including driver. The vehicle can be airlifted by C-130-sized fixed-wing aircraft and CH-47, MH-47 and CH-53 helicopters. The SandCat vehicle accepts the following optional equipment: gunner protection kit, remote weapon station, non-armored cargo area, fire suppression system, NBC protection, self-recovery winch, central tire inflation, runflat tires, trailer hitch/pintle, rear view camera, external intercom system , air bag system, and air condition system.
