Description
The Pleiades Neo is an Airbus funded, manufactured, owned and operated program delivering two imaging satellites available for both civilian and military customers. The Pleiades Neo new generation spacecraft feature very high resolution imaging sensors delivering a resolution of 30 centimeters. Each spacecraft can cover an area of half million square kilometers per day and has a service life of 12 years. The two satellites of the Pleiades Neo constellation are scheduled for launch by mid 2020. In January 2023, Poland ordered two S950 Optical sallites to be launched in 2027.
