Description
The road-mobile Hawsong-19/Hwasongpho-19 is a new solid-propellant, intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) developed by North Korea and fired tested for the first time on October 31, 2024. The new ICBM may enter into service within the North Korean Armed Forces by 2025-2026. The estimated range of the new weapon is 15,000+ kilometers with some unknown features that makes it more dreadful than its predecessors. The Hwasong-19 is expected to form the basis of the North Korea’s ICBM force along the Hwasong-18 missile introduced in late 2023.
