Description

The Ciezkich Bojowych Wozow Piechoty (CBWP), or Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle in English, is a combat vehicle equipped with a Polish-made 30mm unmanned turret and intended to meet the requirements of the Polish Army. The tracked armored vehicle looks like the CV90 armored vehicle but incorporates the chassis from the Krab self-propelled howitzer. The Polish Army is expected to take delivery of the first samples of several hundred CBWPs in 2025. The contract for the new infantry fighting vehicle was signed in August 2023.
