Description

The 9M28K is a 122mm unguided distant Anti-Tank (AT) mine laying rocket projectile fitted with three 5kg AT mines with each mine having 1.85 kg of explosive charge. Each mine is set to self-destruct after 16 to 24 hours of being released. The 9M28K's 22.8 kg warhead is designed for remote laying of anti-tank minefields in front of the hostile materiel formations located on the attack line as well as in the concentration areas. The rocket projectile has a maximum range of 13,400 meters operating at temperatures between -50-degree to +50-degree Celsius. The 9M28K rocket projectile was developed and produced by Splav for the Grad multiple launch rocket system.
