Description
The Makarovets is a small unmanned boat designed to perform training, small-sized surface target and other emerging missions involving or related to drones. The Makarovets sea drone is powered by two electric motors providing a maximum range of 10 kilometers and a top speed of 10 knots. The boat can perform combat missions launching unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned underwater vehicles (UAVs) as well as conducting mine reconnaissance missions. The new naval asset, operating along the Russian Navy’s Pacific fleet, was unveiled in September 2025.
