Description

The CAMM(L) (Common Anti-air Modular Missile Land) is intended to provide a local area air defense capability in support of ground forces and to protect key facilities. The missile system will be highly deployable operating as a stand alone unit or integrated into a larger air defense network. The CAMM(L) should achieve initial operational capability by 2020 with the United Kingdom Armed Forces replacing the Rapier/Jernas air defense systems.
