Description
The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) GJ-1 is an unmanned air vehicle (UAV) capable of reconnaissance and strike missions developed independently by China. Externally this unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) is very similar to the Pterosaur UAV with a distinctive V-shaped tail. As of November 2014, the system has been fielded by the PLAAF for testing and evaluation. It can be fitted with a wide variety of guided bombs, rockets and missiles. The GJ-1 was displayed publicly for the first time during the China Airshow in November 2014.
