Description

The NMS-L 4x4 Turkish Tactical Light Armored Vehicle is designed as a lighter, more deployable variant of the company's standard NMS 4x4 (Yörük) platform. The vehicle emphasizes rapid deployment capabilities, modular protection, and multi-role versatility for military and security forces. The NMS-L builds upon the operational experience gained from the NMS 4x4 platform but incorporates a modular architecture with several key distinctions. The vehicle features a mechanical monocoque hull where main cabin components are assembled using mechanical fasteners only, enabling easier maintenance and field modifications. A key distinguishing feature of the NMS-L is its emphasis on air transportability. With a gross vehicle weight of approximately 10 tons, the vehicle is specifically designed for helicopter transport, including sling-loading under a CH-47 Chinook. This capability makes the NMS-L particularly suitable for rapid deployment missions requiring strategic airlift. The NMS-L 4x4 represents Nurol Makina's response to military requirements for lighter, air-deployable protected mobility platforms that maintain high levels of survivability while offering the strategic mobility necessary for rapid deployment operations across diverse operational environments.
