Description
The Ilyushin Il-114-300 turboprop airplane is intended to cover regional routes of up to 2,100 kilometers carrying up to 52 passengers. This version features two TV7-117SM turboprops each rated at 2,650-hp and designed with increased fuel efficiency compared with other TV7-117 engines. The new power plants allow for greater flight range while improving the landing and take off characteristics. Besides, a built-in air-stairs and an auxiliary power unit enable Il-114-300 operations in poorly-equipped airfields. In late December 2023, Russia made public that will be taking delivery of 70 Il-114s by 2030.
