Description
The AN/FPQ-14 is an early warning, C-band range instrumentation radar, operating between 5,400 and 5,900 MHz. It is a modification of the AN/FPQ-6, featuring a 29-foot parabolic reflector antenna with a gain of 53.8 dB, utilizing both a four-horn monopulse feed and a splash plate feed. The radar has an instrumented range of 32,000 nautical miles (approximately 60,000 km), a peak power of 2.8 MW, and an average power of 4.8 kW, with a narrow beamwidth of 0.38 degrees.
