Description

The SUNGUR is a short-range surface-to-air missile system developed by Roketsan to counter fixed and rotary-wing aircraft as well as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) flying at low altitude. The SUNGUR missile features a maximum range of 8 kilometers, a maximum altitude of 4,000 meters and a countermeasures resistant imaging infrared (IIR) seeker. The missile system has been designed for integration onto a wide range of tactical vehicles and small boats. The missile could be integrated onto UAVs as an air-to-air missile.
