Ranger R20SS

The Ranger R20SS is an X-band ground surveillance radar capable of detecting a pedestrian at over 10 km and a vehicle at over 20 km, with an instrumented range from 20 m to 30,000 m. Its compact and robust design allows for deployment on patrol vehicles or by two personnel for tactical ground missions, suitable for both land and maritime operations. The system features an electronic antenna with multi-component digital beam synthesis, enhancing detection speed by 20 to 50 times without compromising sensitivity, and incorporates advanced detection and tracking algorithms to automatically adapt to environments and reduce false alarms. It provides rapid 90-degree coverage with enhanced Track While Scan (TWS) capabilities, scanning the area twice per second, and can achieve 360-degree coverage with an optional pan/tilt device. The R20SS utilizes continuous wave emission, making it safe for human proximity, and offers high performance for intrusion detection at sensitive sites such as airports, energy production plants, and borders.
