Description
The ASR-100X is a Linktronic mobile short-range air defense surveillance radar, designed as a gap filler. It operates in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation), with a frequency range of 9.0 to 9.5 GHz and a peak power of 8 kW. The radar system, including auxiliary equipment, is housed in a transportable container that can be mounted on an all-terrain vehicle such as a Jeep Hummer. Its reflector antenna produces a cosecant-squared pattern, providing an instrumented range of 100 km with an accuracy of 32 meters and a beamwidth of 1.4 degrees, while rotating at 7.5 or 15 revolutions per minute.
