Description

The Halo 20 is a compact X-band (9.4–9.5 GHz) navigation radar designed for smaller vessels, including ships, boats, and yachts. It employs pulse compression technology to enhance the detection of collision hazards and other targets within its instrumented range of 24 nautical miles (approximately 45 km). The system features a 20-inch diameter radome and its software can automatically track up to 10 targets, with an antenna rotation speed of 24 revolutions per minute and a beamwidth of 4.9°. An enhanced version, the Halo 20+, offers higher pulse power, extended maximum range, and an unlimited target tracking capability, with its antenna rotation speed dynamically adjusted based on the display scale.
