Description
The Main Ground Combat System (MGCS) is a joint program between France and Germany announced through a letter of intent (LoI) signed on June 19, 2018. The MGCS is aimed at the development of a family of Main Battle Tanks (MBTs) to replace the existing Leopard 2 and Leclerc tanks in the 2030-2040 timeframe. The new program will be carried out by KNDS.
