Description
The Osina-RV, also known as 15P182, is a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) derived from the Yars-M system and intended as their replacement within the Russian Strategic Missile Forces. There is no substantial information about the new missile characteristics but some connection with hypersonic technologies can be assumed as default. The development of the Osina-RV started in 2019 and the first test launch was expected by August 2021 but finally has been scheduled within 2022.
