Description
The AN/GPS-10 is an early warning radar manufactured by General Electric in the United States. Operating in the UHF band (IEEE designation) or C band (NATO designation), this satellite tracking radar was initially developed for monitoring missile launches in the former Soviet Union. It utilizes a Cassegrain antenna with a main reflector measuring 60 feet (18.3 meters) in diameter, providing a beamwidth of 2 degrees and an instrumented range of 20,000 nautical miles (37,000 km).
