Operator
The MTS-15 Klever is designed to function as a remote-controlled artillery system that can be operated by a single operator from a distance of up to 500 meters.
Note
The system is controlled remotely, but human intervention is still required to make corrections for shooting after each shot. Typical operation involves the self-propelled howitzer moving to a firing position, with the crew aiming the gun and then taking cover. The MTS-15 Klever then opens fire, and if adjustments are needed, the crew can input them. Once the ammunition is depleted, the robot autonomously moves to reload, with the crew following on an ATV or buggy.

Maximum Firing Range
One of the most striking features of this system is its remarkable firing range. The D-30 howitzer, mounted on the UGV, can engage enemy targets at a maximum distance of 15.3 kilometers. This extensive range provides the UGV with a significant strategic advantage, allowing it to strike from a safe distance. The system's rapid operational flexibility, capable of transitioning from a marching position to a firing position, and back, in just 30 seconds, further enhances its combat effectiveness.
Rate of Fire
The system features an automatic loader capable of holding 4 x rounds, allowing it to execute a series of shots before retreating to safety for reloading.
Loading System
Equipped with an automatic loading system, the vehicle can carry and fire ammunition without human intervention, significantly enhancing its operational efficiency and reducing the risk to personnel in combat zones.
