Description

The BRADAR SAR 3000 is a compact, airborne, multi-function synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system introduced in 2015. Operating in both UHF (400 MHz) and X-band frequencies, it is designed for high-precision mapping and territorial surveillance, offering a range resolution of 2 meters and a cross-range resolution of 0.5 meters. The use of two distinct frequency bands enables it to generate SAR images with and without vegetation layers, facilitating the production of topographic maps and the monitoring of geographical changes such as deforestation, flooding, invasions, and erosion. Its applications include border control, search and rescue, land and sea surveillance, and biomass assessment, and its ease of installation allows for deployment on relatively small aircraft.
