RDL-45
The RDL-45 "Warta" (named after a river in Poland) is a software-defined, multi-purpose L-band air defense radar with an instrumented range of 470 km. It features an active phased array antenna composed of distributed, solid-state, air-cooled transmit/receive (T/R) modules. The radar scans azimuthally via mechanical rotation, while simultaneously controlling the beam electronically in the elevation plane. Designed with a fault-tolerant architecture and advanced "soft-fail" management, the system also integrates Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mark XIIA (military Mode 5 and civil Mode S) with a dedicated antenna atop the main array, and includes its own decoy system. The complete RDL-45WA system is transported by two Jelcz 8x8 high-mobility trucks with trailers.
