Description
The LD 1500 is a family of X-band naval radars designed for navigation and surface surveillance, suitable for small vessels and search and rescue operations. Operating at 9410 ±30 MHz, these radars comply with International Maritime Organization (IMO) and ARPA regulations. They feature a slotted waveguide array antenna, available in lengths of 4 ft, 6 ft, or 7.5 ft, with a beamwidth ranging from 1.8° to 1.1° and an antenna rotation of 22 min⁻¹. The basic version provides a peak power of 4 kW, with optional upgrades to 12 kW or 25 kW, and an instrumented range of 64 nautical miles (118 km).
