Description
EE-9 Cascavel is a 6x6 armored reconnaissance vehicle equipped with a 90mm gun as primary armament. Secondary armament consists of a 7.62mm or a .50 caliber (12.7mm) machine gun. It was designed for speed and high mobility clearing the way for armored units. Engesa manufactured the EE-9 Cascavel in Brazil for the Brazilian Army and international customers. It was used during the Iran-Iraq (1980-88) war and the Gulf War (1991).
