Description

The Mohajer 2-N, which means 'Migrant' in English, is a reconnaissance unmanned air vehicle (UAV) intended to generate terrain maps for both military and civilian customers. These aircraft are also suitable for search and rescue (SAR) and oil pollution patrol missions and combat operations carrying and delivering weapons including missiles. The Islamic Republic of Iran has produced this new aircraft system under its arms development program started in 1992 as a response to the US-led arms embargo. The Mohajer 2-N, also referred to as M2-N, drone was unveiled at the International Iran Kish Airshow in November 2014 and was deployed during drills in the Persian Gulf in late December the same year.
