Description

The Barracuda is a 4x4 multi-purose tactical armored vehicle developed by Doosan DST, formerly Doosan Infracore, for the Republic of Korea. It is intended to perform a wide range of missions such as riot control, surveillance operations and law enforcement. The vehicle's steel plate armor provides ballistic protection against impact of 7.62mm caliber projectiles. The Barracuda can transport a 12-man crew at maximum speed of 100 kph on road over ranges of 1,000+ kilometers and climb a 60 percent gradient. Using run-falte tire can run 70 kilomters at 30 kilometers per hour. It is equipped with a roof-mounted small-caliber weapon station, CCTV and a dozer system.
