Description

The Mercedes-Benz Atego/Axor is a family of high mobility 4x4 truck systems designed to transport troops and cargo in the most severe terrain and climate conditions. These vehicles are available with a full range of water-cooled four- and six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines compliant with Euro 2, Euro 3 and Euro 5 emissions regulations and delivering between 130 KW to 240 KW of power output. The Atego range can transport payloads between 3-5 tons and is provided with three engines delivering 130 KW (4-cylinder 1018 and 1318 trucks), 175 KW (6-cylinder 1024, 1324 and 1524 trucks) and 188 KW (6-cylinder 1526 truck) of power output. The heavier Axor range can transport payloads between 5-7 tons and is provided with four engines delivering 175 KW (4-cylinder 1824 truck), 188 KW (6-cylinder 1826 truck), 210 KW (6-cylinder 1829 truck) and 240 KW (6-cylinder 1833 truck) of power output.
