Description

ASRAD-R (Autonomous Short Range Air Defense) is a short range air defense system for installation in any ground vehicle. The gyro stabilized ASRAD-R comprises a radar, or an IRST, an integrated IFF and 4 Bolide missiles. The ASRAD-R employs a laser designator to guide the Bolide missiles. The ASRAD-R can be controlled remotely at distances of 100 meters.
