Description
The Scalpel is a kamikaze drone developed by the Vostok Design Bureau to take out troops, shelters and tanks meeting the requirements of the Russian Armed Forces related to the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. The X-Winged loitering weapon follows the success of the Lancet drone with an estimated range of 40 kilometers, a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour and a warhead of 5 kilograms. The low-cost Scalpel drone is expected to enter mass production in October 2023.
