The AU-220M is designed for installation on future armored combat vehicles as well as for the modernization of currently deployed vehicles, enhancing the firepower of motorized rifle and infantry units. This system can also be utilized for air defense missions, which increases the combat flexibility of armored vehicles.
The AU-220M is a remote-controlled, unmanned artillery module with the following capabilities:

Fire Control System
The Fire Control System (FCS) manages the operations of target detection and identification, as well as the aiming and firing of both the 57mm automatic gun and the 7.62mm machine gun. This system is effective when firing from a stationary position, while moving, and even when afloat in various combat environments. The FCS includes a sighting unit that features a combined sight with both thermal imaging and television channels, a laser rangefinder, and independent dual-axis stabilization for the field of view.
