Description

The Shahab-6, which means "shooting star" in Farsi, is a intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM) being developed by Iran to hit targets at ranges of 5,500 kilometers. At the end of 2009 the missile was still in early stages of development. The Shahab-6 may be intended to attack targets located in any part of Europe, Asia and Africa while Australasia and America will remain out of range.
