Description
The Lacin is a guidance kit developed by Roketsan for the Mk 82 general purpose bomb and intended to improved its performance against moving and stationary targets. The guidance kits includes inertial measurement unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS) and Imaging Infrared (IIR)/TV seeker along with a data-link to keep the target in the loop. The Lacin system also includes the L-POD pod installed on the aircraft that communicates with the smart bomb via data-link.
