Description
The 5P85 is a family of missile launch vehicles associated with the S-300 long-range air defense systems developed by the former Soviet Union in the 1970s. These 5P85 platforms serve as Transporter, Erector and Launcher (TEL) vehicles. The first version of the 5P85 (5P85ME) was introduced in 1978 in support of the S-300 missile system. The 5P85 missile launcher vehicle can be provided on wheeled chassis.
