Description
The RDR 2000 is an X-band airborne weather radar system with a peak power of 4 kW and an instrumented range of 240 nautical miles (445 km). It is designed for use in aircraft and provides a vertical cross-section view of storm activity, selectable by the pilot. The system utilizes either a 10-inch or 12-inch antenna, which is constructed from slotted waveguides.
