Description
The MTU-90M is an assault bridge laying system mounted on the T-90S tank armored chassis. The assault bridge can be laid out in 2.5-3 minutes and recovered in 4-5 minutes allowing for passage of armored vehicles weighing up to 60 tons at a speed of up to 30 kilometers per hour. The bridge allows crossing of obstacles of up to 19 meters wide. The MTU-90M bridge laying system can be used for the transportation and assembly of the TMM-6 multi-span bridge which allows for crossing of wider obstacles. The MTU-90M entered service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2016 or 2017.
