Description
The DM2A5 is a heavyweight torpedo developed for the U212CD class submarines. The DM2A5 torpedo features modular architecture, battery-based propulsion system allowing for long-rand and high speed as well as reduced acoustic signature. In December 2025, the German Navy placed a large order for DM2A5 to equip its 212CD class boats.
