Description
The Russian Navy Project 20386 class corvette is a further development of Project 20380 featuring extreme stealth and unprecedented electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. This combination will make the new corvette virtually invisible to the enemy according to the KRET corporation. The Project 20386 class corvette design is expected to be ready by late 2015 or early 2016. The lead ship of this new class is due to be commissioned after 2020. In July 2023, the Russian Navy decided to discontinue the Project 20386 with only one ship to be commissioned.
