Description
The SAMP/T NG is an upgraded variant of the SAMP/T air defense system incorporating a new launcher, rotating multifunctional Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, improved command and control (C2) module and the Aster Block 1 NT missile. The SAMP/T NG weapon system, launched in March 2021, will be developed by MBDA and Thales on behalf of France and Italy.
