The Nimr is a HMMWV-style wheeled all-terrain tactical vehicle family manufactured in Jordan by Advanced Industries of Arabia, a Bin Jabr Group company. The Nimr vehicle has been designed to carry out military, police and peacekeeping missions in the Middle East area thanks to a cooling system that allows the vehicle to withstand the desert climate with temperatures ranging from -25 to +55 Celsius. The vehicle also features composite ceramic armor and central tire inflation system. The vehicle is based on a flexible modular concept to provide support for a wide range of missions. The Nimr is available on both 4x4 and 6x6 wheeled chassis. Currently, the Nimr vehicle is available as: troop carrier, armored vehicle, station wagon and shelter carrier. All models are powered by a Cummins EUSB 190 diesel engine developing 146 Kw of power which provides a top speed of 140 kph on road and a cruising range of 700 km. The vehicle has a seating capacity for two + six passengers that can vary depending on the vehicle version. The vehicle weight and payload specifications may vary depending on the variant.
