Description
The MQ-9B SkyGuardian is a new version of Predator B replacing the weapon systems by radar and electro-optical equipment to conduct Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The MQ-9B SeaGuardian is intended to conduct maritime search and surveillance operations. These unmanned aircraft are able to fly 35 hours non-stop at airspeeds of 210 knots reaching an altitude of 40,000-ft. The General Atomics Aeronautical Systems MQ-9B took to the skies for the first time in November 2016.
