Description

The Roketsan T-122 is a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) consisting of a multi-barrel rocket launcher (MBRL) integrated onto a MAN 6x6 tactical truck system. It can fire both TR-122 122mm and TR-300 300mm artillery rockets to hit targets at medium and long ranges respectively. The Sakarya is a launching platform that accepts two 4x5 122mm rocket pods and a 2x2 300mm rocket pod. The truck's features a 12.7mm machine gun on the roof, a vehicle mounted crane and a command compartment between the cab and the launching platform. The command module is provided with air conditioning, communications suite and the fire control system. The T-122 artillery system has been deployed by the Armed Forces of Turkey.
