The current version fielded by the Russian Armed Forces is the FAB-3000M-46 model and is intended for the destruction of industrial, port and urban facilities. The Russian Air Force employed the unguided FAB-3000 bomb in Ukraine in September 2022. The ODAB-3000 is a fuel-air-explosive (FAE) bomb variant.
