Description
The Voronezh-DM (Russian GRAU Index: 77Ya6-DM) is a Russian early warning radar operating in the UHF band (IEEE designation) or B9/10 band (NATO designation), which corresponds to the decimeter wave range. It utilizes a passive phased array antenna and a transmitter that employs a cascade of three air-cooled planar triodes as a power amplifier. With an instrumented range of 6,000 km and operating at approximately 470 MHz, three of these radar systems have been installed to date, though one was destroyed during the war in Ukraine.
