KAPLAN-10

The KAPLAN-10 Turkish Amphibious Armored Combat Vehicle is a next-generation armored fighting vehicle designed to operate alongside main battle tanks. Its innovative platform enables the integration of various subsystems, allowing it to carry out a wide range of missions. The KAPLAN-10 features a compact silhouette and an advanced suspension system, which allows for high-speed maneuverability across diverse terrains and weather conditions. Personnel can enter and exit the vehicle through a rear access door. Maintenance and repair of the power pack are facilitated by a cabin access hatch. To enhance safety, the vehicle is equipped with two fully armored fuel tanks located at the rear, isolated from the crew compartment. The hull of the KAPLAN-10 is constructed using a ballistic welding technique, ensuring durability and protection. The power pack and driver are positioned at the front of the vehicle, while the commander and gunner are situated in the center. The rear section accommodates the gunner’s assistant and provides space for additional crew members. The vehicle is equipped with laser-protected glass periscopes, offering the driver a wide field of view and ensuring high situational awareness. Integrated night vision systems come standard in all variants. Currently, the KAPLAN-10 is in service with the Turkish Land Forces in an anti-tank configuration.
