Description
The HACM is a secretive hypersonic weapon system being developed by the United States of America to catch up with Russia and China capabilities. The HACM may be a Hypersonic Air-launched Cruise Missile but the nature of the new weapon remains uncertain. The existence of HACM was leaked in the summer of 2019. The US Air Force selected Raytheon for the development of the Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile under a $985 million contract on September 22, 2022.
