Description
The ORB-32 Héraclès II is an X-band, multi-purpose airborne radar system designed for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. It features a solid, truncated paraboloid antenna with an offset feed, stabilized for pitch, roll, and true motion or azimuth. The radar operates with a peak power of 70 kW, an instrumented range of 60 nautical miles (110 km), and an antenna rotation speed of 80 rpm, supporting both permanent rotating and sector scan modes.
