Description
The R-11 (SS-1) “Scud” is a family of short-range, liquid fueled ballistic missiles first designed in the Soviet Union. Entering service in 1955, the Scud descends from prior German wartime rocket programs, and subsequently became the basis for a wide variety of ballistic missiles proliferated across the world.
